Day 11: Sleepy Sunday
This picture will continue to be the header of my blog until I'm able to establish some better habits. I originally wrote "good habits" but I'm trying to stay away from negativity - so things are not "bad" vs "good". How about good vs better for positivity !
It was 36 degrees when I got up this morning and with a forecast high of 38, it's not going to get much warmer ! I'm glad I did my grocery shopping yesterday when it was in the 50's !
Abby never lets me sleep in. She wants her breakfast around 7:30 and she is not shy about coming upstairs to let me know it's time ! I would have liked to sleep longer, but it's actually a good thing she wakes me up. I used to have trouble sleeping on Sunday nights because I slept in !
Breakfast was cinnamon roll (180 calories) and a yogurt. Lunch was a pepperoni pizza melt (220 calories) and a chef salad. Afternoon snack was cottage cheese (80 calories) and a can of mandarin oranges (120 calories). Dinner was roasted turkey (260 calories) and green beans. Evening snack was a lemon zest cake (140 calories).
Yesterday I spent some time cleaning up my online stuff and changing passwords. While I was on Facebook, some clown posted one of those wildly complementary comments on one of my posts ... a review of Ichiban from 2013 !!!! Yes, 11 years ago ! Needless to say, I immediately deleted the comment and my post. I have my Facebook account pretty well locked down so it keeps the scammers out. Then, while I was on Pinterest some moron tried to message me. These foreign scammers are so stupid. They use these ridiculous names (all first names) and sadly, many lonely women fall for these schemers. I've also seen many pretending to be doctors and military generals. It boggles my mind that women can be stupid enough to fall for these scams. Chat all day long if you're lonely, but the second they ask for money you need to run far away. I just don't understand why you would send money to some stranger from the internet. I logged into an old email account today only to find that someone had an Instagram account tied to it ! I reset the password, made the account private and then submitted a delete for it. I am NOT playing with anyone who uses my email for their stuff ! I plan to check in on my little used emails at least once a month, to ensure no one else uses them to create accounts. After I took care of that, I spent hours updating my accounts and changing more passwords. It was exhausting ! I'm turning on 2 factor authentication wherever available and that results in emails and text notifications. I realized I have 2 Google accounts and both are saving passwords. Many of the passwords are long outdated or desperately need to be updated, so that made the task very tedious ! I worked on accounts that involve credit or financial stuff, since that is most important to have secured. It was close to 7:30 when I decided to put that aside until another day. I found no evidence of any suspicious activity on any of my accounts, other than the rogue Instagram account. I managed to delete a ton of password records that were no longer valid.
Today's goal was a simple one: wash the dishes and clean up the kitchen. Very easy. Very doable ! Didn't get done. Sigh. I got sidetracked with my internet security detail.
